Wanted to add my bit since a while, a real honest answer to your think aloud : this stuff you wrote is very depressing stuff, kind of stuff you find glued at the bottom of your brain when tuned on a desperate mode - secretely locked, rarely expressed like you did.
Here is my little adding : let's think "playtime" for a while, you know when you're too lucid for the social game, press the "playtime" button. Use it and think it's only as long as the game take you somewhere you want to be. We don't need to be cynical for that, never superficial, just a bit more light.
And remember one day we'll be dead for real (and might not decide when) ...
Hey Anna, just only realised you posted a comment. You are absolutely right and I think I certainly don't play enough!!! And I think I have to relearn how to play again as its been a long time since I had "social" fun. Am actually playing with the idea... I have remembered! This is though often a physical matter rather than one of a mental kind. xx
